RAX was developed as an alternative to roof baskets for the Honda Element. Made from Marine-grade King Starboard UV HDPE plastic and 6061-T6 aluminum supports (twice the strength of the industry standard T5 extrusions), RAX is durable and weather resistant. RAX is made to sit on the Element roof line to evenly distribute the weight across the entire vehicle.
Custom Element Consoles
A cooler option is available which turns the console storage space into an insulated area perfect for food or drinks. The cooler has .5" Styrofoam-lined walls, and the floor has sloped grooves to concentrate any condensation away from the emergency brake. It's capable of holding 6 bottles of water or 8 soft drinks cans. In the testing so far, only using 5 frozen water bottles, I was able to hold the temps to 43 degrees all day (12hrs) in a 100-degree shop.
