Step 1 - Align and insert metal rails to side piece. Use 2 screws per rail to secure them in place

Step 2 - once all nine rails are in place, nsert the rails into the other side piece and screw into place

Step 3 - Align wind deflector and secure with 4 screws (note: this may be easier if you loosen one side of the first rail, then tighten again once the wind deflector is in place

Step 4 - Attach 4 roof mounts to the top of your Element, secureing them in place with 3 bolts, nuts, and washers each

Step 5 - Once the RAX is adjusted to fit the contour of your Element, bolt the sides of the RAX to the roof mounts, using 3 bolts and washers each

Step 6 - secure the back of your RAX by installing a bracket on each side using the remaining screws.
